Botanical Essences : Magic with Plants

If we could converse with plants, what secrets might they tell? What could they teach us about survival? About surrendering to the cyclicality of life? With these questions in mind, I have created a collection of botanical essences handmade from the plants in my garden, that can be used to support the grief process and enchant daily life.

Botanical essences offer a gentle yet profound support to emotional well-being. Imbued with the energetic current of flowers, leaves, or other plant parts, these natural remedies are in conversation with us as we move through the various landscapes of grieving.

What is a botanical essence?

A botanical essence is an expression of a plant’s life force, preserved in the memory of water. It is a vibrational remedy.

What do botanical essences do?

Botanical essences soothe the nervous system. Different plants facilitate different emotional expressions.

How are botanical essences made?

Creating botanical essences involves infusing fresh plant parts, such as flowers, leaves, bark, or seeds in water, under the light of the sun or moon. The form and elemental message of the plant is illuminated into water. Water is a vessel for the plant’s frequency, a conveyance subtly integrated into our own watery form.

Why are botanical essences important for grief work?

Grief is a pathless landscape. We can become lost in its tunnels and byways. Plants are experts at adapting to difficult, unfamiliar environments.

They show the way.
